What can I say other than he was and will always be a big part of music history. He started out as a young sensation, managed by his father, making him a soul child who would later take the music industry by storm. He wanted nothing more than to make his father proud and achieve success. Most of us born in my era (circa late 80’s) grew up with his music in the 90’s and some of his best music was born then.
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, entertainer and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he made his debut as an entertainer in 1968 as a member of The Jackson 5. He then began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group, and that successful career led to him being dubbed the “King of Pop” in subsequent years. Jackson’s 1982 album Thriller remains the world’s best-selling album of all time, and four of his other solo studio albums are among the world’s best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

Where were you when you first heard Michael Jackson?
By far the coolest thing about MJ and all that he did was the moonwalk. He revolutionized dancing and trademarked his signature dance move that was requested every time he performed.

What is your favorite song? What is your favorite album?
Michael Jackson has been a growing legacy and will leave this world with the original title, The King of Pop. “Thriller” was my all-time favorite song and video, especially put-together. It made me want to dance and I always loved singing to it.
He will always be remembered.
